Q-Parks Trip

At the beginning of the past week I tryed to figure someone out to go with me to Lenzerheide for the contest, but than I got the information that I can go with the Q-Parks Crew on a whole shooting/comp trip. So past thursday afternoon we left Salzburg to Schöneben for the final Park shooting. On friday morning we headed up there and there was waiting a bluebird, spring temperatures, a perfect shaped park and a skido for the kickers. It was one of the best shooting days ever with Qparks thx a lot for that guys ;)
After a sweet pizza at the evening we left to Lenzerheide. It should have been a 2,5h drive but because we got hooked up by the police 2 times we needed like 4h. Pretty wired this Swiss police. Whateever we had nothing illegal so there was nothing to find ;)
So we arrived at about 10pm at our hostel. A really nice house especially for Freeskiers and Boarders.
Next morning we went up for the Freestyle Madness competition. The weather was really bad, so It was super hard to ride. I screwed up my first run because I couldn't see the landing, but my second run was pretty good, I just hit the nuckle at the second jump. But unluckily for me the judges were not on my side and so I got 7th. What I don't really understand because I watched all the other guys and the runs of two of them were way under my skills. But the judges saw that diffrent so ok, I accept that.
In the afternoon and evening we just chilled and had a nice time at our hostel.
The next morning we had the shooting planed for the whole park at Lenzerheide but as we woke up it had started to snow heavily, so after waiting a couple of hours we decided to cancel it and to go home.
After a 5h drive we arrived and I'm happy to be back home =)

2nd at Sick Trick Open

Last friday I went to Kitzbühel for the Sick Trick Open. Another stop of the Qpark-Tour. And it started with bad weather, snowfall, flat light and fog.
But after some training runs where some obstacles still was closed the weather got a little better - at least some times ;) .
Anyway after qualifying myself for the semi-finals I also made into the top 5 for the finals, and there I risked a lot in my last run and finally ended up in 2nd place. Pretty stoked about that, because the level was really sick that day, props to all the other guys as well.

Another sweet Pow day

Today I went to Zauchensee with Moritz Schwarz, do go for some nice lines. And we got pretty lucky to find some untracked lines where I did a little shooting. Than we went down to the town Zauchensee to check for some more lines at the red gondola, and as we arrived there this lift just opened - because of the wind. But there where like 60-70 freeriding people so we went there pretty fast and got like two more nice lines. Anyway it was a really nice day with lots of fresh pow. here some pics out of the video I made:

Fresh Pow and Bluebird

Today I planed a nice relaxing day to recover a little bit, but than I saw the nice fresh powder out of the window and I thought: "ok let's go for some turns, why not.". And now I'm super happy that I went up to Gaißau, couse there was waiting bluebird for me..yeahh =)

learned a new trick

Yesterday was a really sick day at the Absolutpark. Bluebird, some fine warm temperatures again and a well shaped two times double kickerline.
And I was thinking about a nice style trick so I decidet to lern a "cork 7 truckdriver" and I almost have done it, one time I grabed with the left hand and the next time with the right one, but I think I need some more practise than I will get it done with both hands =)

New skis in Test

Some weeks ago I already got my new Majesty Skis! Rally sweet graphics and colours this year! great jop guys =)

And also for riding, they are super nice like always. I also testet my hiking skis today and I must say I think I will like this a lot =) haha its kinda nice walking up the mountain, and there is just you and the nature. I do really enjoy that. But my ankle is still not healed, so I always have to be very carefull while skiing. And it sucks so much now, because I want to go skiing again in all ways and without any pain.

Boardshoppark Shooting

On Tuesday we had a little shooting at the Boardshoppark at Gaißau/Hintersee. That's a small SkiResort near my home, about 20min with the car.
It was a really nice session with Moritz Schwarz, Flo Ehgartner, and some Boarders.
